We recently upgraded our HVAC System. Controlling environmental factors inside thin film production areas is critical to high-quality results. Several facets of control must be considered when implementing HVAC and filtration components. Among these are the mitigation of dust particles, management of temperature in process areas, and humidity control to tight tolerances. When these parameters are not strictly supervised problems can occur at the substrate/thin film boundary including cleaning anomalies such as streaks and wipe marks, pinholes, and problems with coating durability. NTFL continues to invest in our clean room environments seeking to provide the highest quality thin films available.
